I lived in Nepal for 3 months in the summer of 2016.
I was working with Humane Society International on a project involving vaccinating dogs for rabies and also sterilizing (spay/neuter) dogs.
These pieces are all made with beads or stones that I bought in Nepal.
The colors remind me of the vibrant saris and marketplaces. I am transported back to Kathmandu when I wear this jewelry, I swear I can hear and smell everything like it was yesterday.
