This unique stone is called snowflake obsidian, for reasons I hope are clear from the pictures. Some stones are the classic solid, shiny black obsidian. Other stones are flecked with white and gray, and some are almost entirely gray with black veins. The result is a piece that will make people stop and check out your jewelry. This is natural stone, so please allow for the variation in shape, size, and color that Mother Nature has created. 

Approximately 12-15 stone chips are strung on slightly curved memory wire. The remainder of the necklace is gunmetal chain, finished with a gunmetal lobster clasp. Gunmetal is a type of bronze containing zinc lending it the signature dark silver look.
