Each shell spear has a slight pink tint and is polished to give off a rainbow of colors in the sunlight. The freshwater pearls are a creamy white color and the fire-polished crystal is a warm tan color with reflections that compliment all the colors of the shell.
Each necklace is composed of one shell spear, 4 large wire-wrapped pearls, and 2 wire-wrapped crystals. The wire-wrapping is all done by hand using tarnish-resistant copper wire. The ear wires, chain, and lobster clasp are all copper. The total length of the necklace in 22 inches / 56 centimeters. The necklace length from the clasp to the end tip of the shell is 13.5 inches. If you would like the chain shortened, please specify the desired length in a message to me at checkout.
I have chosen to use natural stone and freshwater pearls for this piece, meaning that Mother Nature has had a large part in designing the appearance of the shell and pearls. Each shell and pearl is unique. I have done my best to match similar items, but please do not expect identical pieces. All the pearls and crystals were wire-wrapped by hand.
